Fallon Rural Respite
Fallon Rural Respite is a non-profit program dedicated to providing the gift of time for temporary relief for families in nee. They provide (depending on available funds) center-based respite sessions and vouchers for in-home respite.



Fallon Welfare District Office
Provides financial assistance for children deprived of support from parents. Medical assistance to aged, blind, disabled, children and pregnant women. Food Stamps, child support enforcement, etc. 



Family Counseling Services of Nevada
Fee-for-service nonprofit counseling center offers 7-week parenting classes from different curriculum specific to child's age or family's situation (single parent, blended family, etc.) Workshops offered quarterly. Call for class schedule.



Family Promise
Formerly Interfaith Hosiptality Network. Transitional shelter program that helps families go from unemployed and homeless to employed and in stable housing. Volunteer-run by a coalition between area churches of different denominations.



Family Promise Las Vegas
Family Promise (formerly, Interfaith Hospitality Network) is committed to helping homeless families in the Las Vegas valley to achieve lasting independence. We do this by helping our community mobilize to provide safe shelter, meals, and support services for homeless families.



Family Resource Center of Northeastern Nevada 
Parenting classes, case management, training assistance, job search assistance, food bank assistance, and referral services, teen pregnancy prevention programs, etc.



Family Respite of Northeastern Nevada
Free out-of-home respite for parents whose children qualify. No income requirements. Reservations/advance notice requested. Kids with special needs get first priority, then those with family-crisis issues and siblings. Siblings welcome if there’s room.



Family TIES of Nevada
This nonprofit organization serves all of Nevada as a support network for families of children with special healthcare needs or disabilities. They provide training, information and emotional support.



Family To Family Connection, Las Vegas West
Education and support for families with infants and toddlers. Breast feeding, nutrition, safety and parenting classes for families who haven’t had assessment with NEIS, are on waiting list or are transitioning to CCSD.



FEAT of Southern Nevada
Support for families that have children with Autism. Provides a lending library, support group with professional guest speakers, network of volunteer parents available for support and for IEP accompaniment.



FEAT of the Carson Valley
F.E.A.T. or 'Families for Effective Autism Treatment' is a group of parents who formed an organization in the Carson Valley for support and advocacy to help families with children who have received the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. This includes: Autism, Pervasive Development Disorder (PDD) or Asperger's Syndrome.



Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Support Group
Our goal is to provide ongoing support for persons living with FMS/CFS and to educate those interested in learning more about it.



Flamingo Welfare Office
Offering life/work programs and services including: temporary assistance for needy families, child support enforcement, social services, employment/ training, food stamps, energy assistance. Various services for Medicaid/Medicare eligible.



Food Bank of No. NV
Collection and distribution center for the greater Northern Nevada food pantries and kitchens. Food bank receives donated food, and it’s stored, sorted, packed and picked up by food pantry operators.



Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow
Works to empower underemployed/unemployed Nevadans to get vocational assistance to secure job that pays a living wage. Offers tuition aid, books, food/gas vouchers, licensing certification fees, clothes for job interviews, childcare, more.



Foundation for Positively Kids
Since its inception in 1999, The Foundation for Positively Kids has become Southern Nevada's central resource center for medically dependent children and their families, providing an array of services and programs to meet their needs. PK dedicates all available time, resources and donations to the medically fragile children living in our community, Las Vegas. We thank our staff, volunteers, nurses and donors most importantly who help make Las Vegas a better place to live.



Franklin Brass Mfg Co 
Safety First by Franklin Brass is a unique collection of quality bathware items designed to help children, seniors, physically challenged or injured individuals. Offers assorted grab bars, tub/shower seats and chairs, elevated toilet seat.



Freedom Factory 
Recreational sporting equipment for physically disabled, including competition/racing mono skis; recreational downhill skis for adults, children; adaptable/adjustable water ski cages and several types of water-skis; Products available via mail order. 



Friends 4 Life
Help for Elko County residents with medical treatment expenses for serious or life-threatening illness/injury: fundraising aid up to $1,000/pp lifetime cap; transport assistance; help families/friends raise money for a specific individual or loved one.



FRIENDS Family Resource Center 
A support group for parents of children with disabilities and other special needs. The group targets issues such as empowerment, advocacy skills, systems’ change and survival skills.



Friends in Service Helping (Fish)
Assists Carson, Lyon, Douglas, Storey county residents with emergency food, clothing, night-time shelter, intake/referrals, showers, laundry, GED, medical/mental health, short-term childcare help, more. Refers all clients to permanent resources.



Friends of First Step
Support group for concerned family members participating in the First Step Early Intervention Program. Also provides training, education, social events, ER funding, respite care, referals & grants



Friends of NEIS
Support for families of infants and toddlers with special needs in the Southern area. They help families with special-needs children find resources and financial support.



Friends of Special Children
A nonprofit organization comprised of families and friends of children who have special healthcare needs or disabilities. Tempoary loan of hearing aids and other assistive equipment. Assistance with individual family needs, periodic family networking events.
