Partners for Autonomy in Life Skills (P.A.L.S.)
P.A.L.S. is a program designed specifically for children diagnosed under the spectrum of autism. Our primary goal is to prepare the children for adulthood through educational, prevocational, life skills, and social/ recreational activities that foster appropriate behaviors, independence and increased self-esteem.



Partnership for Prescription Assistance
The Partnership for Prescription Assistance brings together America’s pharmaceutical companies, doctors, other health care providers, patient advocacy organizations and community groups to help qualifying patients who lack prescription coverage get the medicines they need through the public or private program that’s right for them.



PAWS
All-volunteer pgm hosts free visits by specially trained dogs & handlers. Dogs & handlers visit many facilities to give people an opportunity to interact positively with a loving, healthy, happy animal. Dogs & handlers used to wking with different needs.



People First of Nevada - Southern Nevada Center



People First of Northern Nevada Self-Advocacy Group
Meets on 2nd Tues./mo. at N NV Center for Independent Living. Holds monthly support grp for people with disabilities. Offers advocacy for ppl's rights. Sometimes offer guest speakers/presentations, food & bev. Meeting & refreshments free to attendees.

Positive Behavior Supports of Nevada
Team offers vendors, providers & families methods of supporting people with positive behavior mgmt issues (vs. punitive or neg.). Train families, teachers & providers to provide positive behavioral support at hm/school/wk. Individual consultation.



Positive Supports for Children/Christy Buckingham
Children's Developmental Ctr, works full/part-time on behavioral issues, social skills & academics. Starts with early skills before public schools. Homeschoolers may attend part-time. Works with autism spectrum children. Ratio max is 6 students/teacher.



Power of Touch Craniosacral Therapy
Massage & cranio-sacral therapies from a licensed occupational therapist. Treatment of Chronic pain & headaches. Emotional work, Multi-hands work, Treatment to increase attention & focus.



Proactive Parents of Dayton PPODS
Support group for families of children with disabilties.



Progressive Choices Inc. 
Assists developmentally disabled individuals in gaining productive & successful employment by providing info, training, support & maintenance to the worker & employer. Provide vocational training, job placement & job coach for support & training.



Project ASSIST 
1-stop call referral system matches a child’s age, diagnosis & concerns to local, state & at times nat’l resource entities. From this match, the computer database prints contact info for all matching resources & party receives complete packet of info.
